Notes describe prominent peach trees observed on the march between Sanga Shika? and Chayul, with comparison to similar trees seen at Lhakhang Dzong in 1933. The trees are characterized by enormous broad trunks with several slender branches, often widely lopped.

Lud. p. 61. Peach trees were much in evidence on the march, especially between Sanga Shika? & Chayul. They are very much like those we saw at Lhakhang Dzong in 1933 — an enormous broad trunk with several slender branches springing from the head. The branches are sometimes very widely lopped.
