SUMMARY:
The diary describes the route along the Ling to Ling Dzong via the Ling La, with scarce fuel but ample water, and a disappointing view despite glimpses of Kulu Kangri and Chenrezi. Ling village has about 15 houses and a dzong; a severe hailstorm flooded the tents shortly after arrival. Burrhel and yaks were observed near the Ling cultivation.
