This sub-series contains 10 files: 7 boxes of photographic matter (photographs and negatives) taken by Frank Ludlow and George Sherriff (the majority of the photographs are thought to be large format). 1 box of colour photographs by G. Sherriff that had previously been part of an exhibition display (circa 1978). 1 file of material donated via Peter Cox containing a glass plate negative and a numerical list of prints and negatives. There is also a file which contains 15 envelopes of negatives were created from G. Sherriff's photographs in 1985.
Box 11 added to the catalogue in March 2024; a box labelled 'Ludlow and Sherriff photographs 1938, which seems to be a collection of photographs collated at RBGE and consisting of primulas and related landscapes, was shelved alongside the collection but not already on the catalogue.
