SUMMARY:
Travel notes describe a steep valley approach to LAO, where a cantilever bridge crosses the Kulong Chu, before leaving the river for a side valley toward RELA. The entry praises the magnificent gorge scenery with ragged peaks over 20,000' and notes, per Sir C White, that the Do Ha is no higher than the Rudo La and thus of limited use.
