The pdf available on the Archives Resources page: (right click, open link in new tab) https://atom.rbge.org.uk/archive-resources/ is a description of the arguments John Hutton Balfour had with H.M. Office of Works to make Inverleith House habitable for him and his family to move into in 1878. He transcribed the correspondence into a notebook, now kept in box 1.
