Archivist's note

The Journal of the Straits branch of the Royal Asiatic Society, June 1906, containing Henry Ridley's report on the Botany of Christmas island (GB 235 DRT/2/4) was affected by the flood of July 2021 and sent to Harwell to be dried. Some pages at the front and back of the journal have water markings on them, but the Ridley article is undamaged.
