Slides were in the possession of R. Weatherhead, Dunbar, who ordered and listed them with his wife, and passed them to D.R. McKean in June 1992. They then went into the RBGE 35mm slide collection and were reviewed by Ian Hedge in April 2016. The slides came to the Archives to be united with E.P. Beattie's card index. Accessioned and catalogued in March 2022 during collection survey.

Beattie and covering British plants, including Papaveraceae, Cruciferae, Resedaceae, Caryophyllaceae, Chenopodiaceae, Leguminosae, Rosaceae, Saxifragaceae, Grossulariaceae, Umbelliferae, Polygonaceae, Saliaceae. Ericaceae (Rhododendron ponticum), Menyanthaceae, Boraginaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Orobanchaceae, Labiatae, Caprifoliaceae, Dipsaceae, Compositae, Liliaceae and Orchidaceae.
