Photographs taken by Mr. JH Hicks during his trip to Bhutan as a member of the Ludlow and Sherriff expedition team.
Most of the images are mounted on card that appears to have once been apart of a ringed photo album.
Many of the photographs have a reference number on the back that is linked to Hicks' 'Index of negatives' found on page 2 of his itinerary (GB235 HJH/4/1). This index includes dates and a brief description of the subject matter.
