Unknown - photographer also unknown (apart from one photo by David Wilkie), photographs were in the possession of William Gregor Mackenzie who was at RBGE between 1928 and 1945.

Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Photographs were found by Mackenzie's daughter and passed to the RBGE Archives in November 2005
