1 box containing a set of mounted photographs (29 smaller, 15 larger) was deposited at RBGE from the National Museums of Scotland on 1st July 2007 by Liz Pilling, RBGE and NMS volunteer. At this time, 8 further folders of photographs by Henry Irving was identified, presumably also from the NMS (Royal Scottish Museum) but already transferred to RBGE by this time and the collection was brought together to form GB 235 IRV.
