Marshall Bulley and Son Memorandum notepaper, to Isaac Bayley Balfour at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, dated 02 October 1905, describing the communication of 17 August from Mr Embery, China Inland Mission, Talifu [Dali] [GB 235 FRG/1/1/1/1905/26]; that Forrest was expected there in four days and would be well cared for. ‘The 1st “nice” plant fr[om] F[orrest] has just been determined at Kew – Cyananthus incanus var. leiocalyx. Yellow fl[ower]s. In Robinson’s Eng[lish] Fl[ower] Garden C. incanus is described as having light blue fl[ower]s.’
