Small collection of reprint material found within the Hutton Balfour collection; either because one or more was in Hutton Balfour's possession, or with his papers, or because for some reason they have been corralled into the collection as they were written by him. It is not known why these reprints were kept here rather than in the reprint collection, but they remain here at present; however it should be noted that there is a Reprint Collection within the RBGE Library collection and that should be searched for a fuller collection of Hutton Balfour's published writing on his excursions.
