REC/1/2/1: The first map is of Sikkim, Bhutan, parts of Nepal, Tibet, Bengal and Eastern Bengal and Assam, dates to 1908 and is annotated with Cooper's routes and the legend, "RE Cooper, A- 1914 - Tour in Bhutan, July-August, Sept, Oct, Novr; B- 1915 - April, May, June, July, August, Sept.".
REC/1/2/2: The second map is of parts of Lahaol and Spiti of the Kangra District and Chamba, Punjab with portions of ... Kashmir, dates to 1913 and is annotated with Cooper's routes and the legend "RE Cooper's visit to Kulu and Lahaol, 1916, seed collecting for A.K. Bulley, Neston, Cheshire".

•Also, letters dated 28 March 1913 & 30 March 1913 re: Primula; filed with Primula subject material under “Primula” (Box1) in main index - white folder.

Two boxes of correspondence, seed lists and field notes to, from and relating to Reginald Farrer and his expeditions to Kansu (Gansu) in Northern China (1914-1915) and Upper Burma (1919-1920) and one box containing a photo album and letter. These records were likely brought together from various sources within the RBGE Archives so that items relating to Farrer were kept together. It has been decided to keep this collection together.

Account book (252 x 200 x 22mm) with pasted in or interleaved additions annotated in pen in John MacWatt’s hand, of various dates in the 1920s and 1930s but not in date order. Contents include newspaper and journal cuttings (many from Amateur Gardening, also Popular Gardening, The Garden, Country Life etc); reviews of The Primulas of Europe; an offprint of John MacWatt’s paper to the 1913 Primula Conference and illustrations from the papers of other speakers; letter from William Wright Smith, 8 January 1937, acknowledging the gift to RBGE of 42 lantern slides and 86 negatives of Primulas; Wright Smith’s obituary and other cuttings related to George Forrest; an invitation to a dinner to celebrate Amateur Gardening’s 50th anniversary; prints and postcards from a trip to Shetland in 1935; letter from Lady Haddington and newspaper cuttings regarding the opening of Morelands to the public for charity on 30 August 1932; and loose illustrations from The Primulas of Europe and other publications.
