Brickell, (Botanist for the Director), Royal Horticultural Society’s Gardens, Wisley, dated 26th March 1962 had accompanied the first consignment of plants from the Furse Expedition.

(A series of 6 lectures of which the second is missing) No lectures had been given on this subject in UK since 1896. Therefore timely to bring up to date the science of soil physics.
