Red Leather bound scrapbook compiled by Ida M. Hayward and containing a photograph of Ida Hayward with her dog Logie; poem to Logie regarding their search for alien plants; newspaper cuttings; order forms for Hayward and Druce's "The Adventive Flora of the Tweed"; letters of thanks and receipts from those receiving a copy of the Flora; book reviews; photograph of beetles extracted from wool at Galashiels; and some loose letters.

222 black and white photographs in 13 envelopes, some of which date between 1952-1957), presumably all taken by David Wilkie of RBGE and passed to (Charles) Trevor Jephcott. The subjects are all horticultural, with two notable groups, rhododendron and campanula.

There is a reference to John MacWatt and Lilian Snelling in letter 11 from 1915 (Snelling also in letters 3, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, 25, 24, 29, 36, 38, 40 - and again throughout 1916. There is a note in index box 2 from Jennifer Woods which states "...I was looking under stairs ... and found these cards loose but I think complete. They are a record of the Glasgow Herbarium (this includes many types and it is often useful to check on the cards whether we can expect to find a certain collection) which is on permanent loan along with the card index. It is not ours. These are just the monocots. have you still got the dicots?"
