SUMMARY:
References to Ludlow's pages 67–68 praise the white meconopsis seen on the Mila Kalang La and note rubythroats at Lap and grosbeaks at 16,000 ft in rhododendron scrub. It reports that hopes for Mago as a flower garden proved a failure and that they plan to return down the valley.
